SPARC AI's Strike 1 Drone Achieves Successful First Test Flight
TORONTO, Canada — November 12, 2025 — Leads & Copy — SPARC AI Inc. has announced the successful first test flight of its Strike 1 drone, a custom-built platform designed to showcase the company’s GPS-denied autonomy and target acquisition technology.
SPARC AI expects to take delivery of the first Strike 1 units within the next two weeks. The Company plans to use Strike 1 to demonstrate the capabilities of Overwatch through live demonstrations, partner testing, and integration programs. For customers who already operate their own drones, SPARC AI’s software can be installed directly onto their existing hardware.
For customers who prefer not to test on their own systems or who want a complete ready-to-fly platform, SPARC AI will offer Strike 1 as a pre-configured, off-the-shelf solution that can be used for paid trials, showcasing the full capability of SPARC AI’s embedded autonomy.

SPARC AI’s proprietary Overwatch software is integrated into Strike 1’s onboard hardware, enabling fully autonomous navigation and target geolocation without GPS, lidar, radar, or image recognition systems. Strike 1 includes a detachable GPS module allowing operators to easily switch between GPS-assisted and total GPS-denied flight modes.
This feature demonstrates SPARC AI’s ability to maintain situational awareness and precision control even in signal-blocked or contested environments.
According to Anoosh Manzoori, CEO of SPARC AI, the successful flight of Strike 1 marks another major step toward bringing the company’s GPS-denied autonomy to market. Manzoori also noted the recent launch of SPARC AI Universal API, a software interface that allows developers to incorporate Overwatch into virtually any platform. He highlighted the late October announcement that Overwatch can be integrated into QGround Control, a widely adopted open-source ground station for major drone operating systems, as an important commercial milestone.
SPARC AI Inc. develops next-generation, GPS-free target acquisition and intelligence software for drones and edge devices. The zero-signature technology delivers real-time detection, tracking, and behavioral insights without reliance on radar, lidar, or heavy sensors. SPARC AI’s flagship platform provides defense, rescue, first responders, and commercial operators with unmatched situational awareness.
The Company is committed to building a scalable software platform that defines the future of drone intelligence globally.
