UraniumX Discovery Corp. Begins Geophysical Survey at Murphy Lake Property

VANCOUVER, British Columbia — February 17, 2026 — Leads & Copy — UraniumX Discovery Corp. and F4 Uranium Corp. have announced the start of a ground geophysical survey at the Murphy Lake Property in Saskatchewan’s Athabasca Basin.

The Moving Loop Electromagnetic (MLEM) survey, covering 9.2 line-kilometres across four lines, is designed to refine conductor targets previously identified through geophysical work and historic drilling. EarthEx Geophysical Solutions is conducting the program, which aims to prepare for UraniumX’s planned drill program in late spring 2026.

Murphy Lake is located approximately 5 km south of IsoEnergy’s Hurricane Deposit and 4 km east of Cameco’s La Rocque Lake Uranium Zone.

Previous drilling at Murphy Lake in 2022, consisting of 14 drill holes totaling 6,850 meters, intersected elevated uranium geochemistry and alteration features commonly associated with Athabasca Basin uranium mineralization. Drill hole ML22-006 yielded 0.065% U₃O₈ over 2.5 metres, including 0.242% U₃O₈ over 0.5 metres, within a 4.2-metre-wide deformation zone. Drill hole ML22-012, located approximately 1.4 km to the north, returned anomalous uranium geochemistry of 56 ppm U over 0.5 m in sandstone immediately above the unconformity.

Esen Boldkhuu, Chief Executive Officer of UraniumX, stated that the 2022 drill program confirmed that Murphy Lake hosts the geological architecture sought in the Athabasca Basin, including graphitic basement conductors, a wide deformation zone with uranium mineralization, and alteration signatures consistent with the unconformity-hosted model. Boldkhuu added that the MLEM survey is the next step in resolving conductor geometry to precisely position drill holes for the spring program.

In the Athabasca Basin exploration model, graphitic basement conductors act as structural corridors for uranium-bearing fluid migration. The 2022 drilling at Murphy Lake confirmed graphitic shear zones in the basement and hematite and limonite alteration in the overlying sandstone, as well as a 4.2 metre-wide deformation zone hosting uranium mineralization in ML22-006.

The MLEM method is a ground-based geophysical technique used to detect electrically conductive bodies in the subsurface. The ground EM program will consist of four MLEM survey lines totaling approximately 9.2 line-kilometres, designed to refine and tighten survey coverage around and between two previously identified prospective conductor systems.

Boldkhuu added that the program was designed to tighten target definition between two known conductor corridors where previous coverage was insufficient.

The MLEM survey is expected to be completed within approximately 2 weeks. Upon receipt of processed data, results will be integrated with existing geophysical, geochemical, and drill hole data to refine a 3D geological model of the Murphy Lake conductor systems. UraniumX anticipates providing an update on target selection and drill program planning at the end of Q1 2026, ahead of a planned drill program scheduled for late spring 2026.

The Murphy Lake geophysical and future drill program is fully funded by UraniumX.

The 609-hectare Murphy Lake property is located in the northeastern Athabasca Basin, approximately 30 kilometres northwest of Orano Canada’s McClean Lake operation, 5 kilometres south of IsoEnergy’s Hurricane Uranium Deposit, and 4 kilometres east of Cameco’s La Rocque Lake Uranium Zone, where drill hole Q22-040 intersected 29.9% U₃O₈ over 7.0 metres.

IsoEnergy’s Hurricane Deposit hosts a high-grade indicated uranium mineral resource comprising 48.6 million pounds U₃O₈ at an average grade of 34.5% U₃O₈ at a 1.0% U₃O₈ cut-off.

UraniumX Discovery Corp. is a Canadian-based junior uranium exploration company focused on advancing assets in Saskatchewan’s Athabasca Basin. The Company’s portfolio includes the Murphy Lake, Zoo Bay, and NeoCore uranium properties.
