Mechanicsburg, PA — September 3, 2025 — Leads & Copy — Horizon Farm Credit awarded over $136,000 in grants to 16 organizations across its 100-county footprint this summer through its Community Investment Grant program. The grants will fund initiatives focusing on agricultural innovation, education, diversity, environmental stewardship, and community strengthening.
Horizon Farm Credit CEO Tom Truitt said that strong communities are the foundation of a thriving agricultural industry. By supporting these organizations, the company is investing in agriculture and the people, partnerships, and programs that ensure communities continue to grow and thrive throughout their footprint.
This year’s recipients represent a wide range of missions including: farm-to-school programs, workforce training, veteran farmer support and environmental stewardship.
