Duluth, Georgia — September 8, 2025 — Leads & Copy — AGCO (NYSE: AGCO) has signed a 10-year Virtual Power Purchase Agreement (VPPA) with BRUC to advance its renewable energy strategy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The agreement supports BRUC’s new 100-megawatt solar photovoltaic project in northwest Spain, which is expected to generate approximately 200 GWh of renewable electricity annually.
According to AGCO, this VPPA enables clean electricity at stable, long-term rates and strengthens supply chain resilience.
Construction of the solar PV plant is set to begin in the second half of 2025, with commercial operations starting in late 2026. Energy specialist Schneider Electric supported the VPPA.
